What is balsam Peru, castor oil, and trypsin?

Balsam Peru increases blood flow to a wound area, and also helps fight bacteria.

Castor oil prevents skin cells from breaking down, which aids in wound healing.

Trypsin helps to strip away (or slough off) damaged skin cells.

Revina NLT (for the skin) is a combination medicine used to treat bed sores and other skin ulcers. This medication can help promote healing and relieve pain caused by these conditions.

Balsam Peru, castor oil, and trypsin may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
