What are Span C?
Span C are found in the rind of green citrus fruits and in rose hips and black currants.
Span C have been used in alternative medicine as an aid to enhance the action of vitamin C, to support blood circulation, as an antioxidant, and to treat allergies, viruses, or arthritis and other inflammatory conditions.
Not all uses for Span C have been approved by the FDA. This medicine should not be used in place of medication prescribed for you by your doctor.
Span C is often sold as an herbal supplement. There are no regulated manufacturing standards in place for many herbal compounds and some marketed supplements have been found to be contaminated with toxic metals or other drugs. Herbal/health supplements should be purchased from a reliable source to minimize the risk of contamination.
