Omeprazole decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach.

Omeclamox-Pak is a combination medicine used to prevent stomach ulcer caused by infection with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori).

Omeclamox-Pak may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

This medicine may harm an unborn baby. Use effective birth control to prevent pregnancy, and tell your doctor if you become pregnant.

Amoxicillin can make birth control pills less effective. Ask your doctor about using a non-hormonal birth control (condom, diaphragm with spermicide) to prevent pregnancy.

Swallow each pill whole and do not crush, chew, break, or open it.

Use Omeclamox-Pak for the full prescribed length of time, even if your symptoms quickly improve. Skipping doses can increase your risk of infection that is resistant to medication. This medicine will not treat a viral infection such as the flu or a common cold.
