What is this product used for?

Some people use fruit acids to help with skin problems like acne, dry skin, psoriasis, or melasma. Others believe it helps protect the skin from aging or rashes.

What are the precautions when taking this product?

  • Always check with your doctor before you use a natural product. Some products may not mix well with drugs or other natural products.

  • You may get sunburned more easily. Avoid sun, sunlamps, and tanning beds. Use sunscreen and wear clothing and eyewear that protects you from the sun.

  • Check with your doctor before you use fruit acids if you have had recent cosmetic surgery.

What should I watch for?

  • Upset stomach

  • Redness or flakiness of your skin

  • Dryness

  • Burning feeling

  • Rash

  • Change in skin color

  • Swelling

When do I need to call the doctor?

  • Signs of a very bad reaction. These include wheezing; chest tightness; fever; itching; bad cough; blue skin color; seizures; or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Go to the ER right away.

  • Very bad throwing up

  • Very bad loose stools

  • Your skin problem is not getting better or is getting worse
